The painting titled "Friends Come to Tea" was truly a labor of love. The painting took over four months to complete. The detail upon detail at times was to overwhelming. However I am thrilled that I finally completed the painting. All the antiques in the painting represent items that I have collected since moving to Oregon. All the items have some connection to the great northwest. The quilt was originally made by my grandmother. Living near the woods we always have a wide variety of wildlife that come to visit...from raccoon's, deer, coyote, quail, chipmunks...there simply is never a dull moment.
